Frequently asked questions
How does the age calculator handle leap year birthdays (February 29)?
If you were born on February 29, the calculator still counts your age correctly based on full years elapsed. In non-leap years, the "next birthday" countdown targets March 1 since February 29 does not exist in those years.
Is the age calculated based on my timezone?
Yes. The calculation uses your browser's local date as "today." If you are in a timezone where it is already the next day, your age may show as one day more than someone checking from a different timezone.
What does the "next birthday" countdown show?
It shows how many days remain until your next birthday based on today's date. On your birthday, it will show 0 days or roll over to the next year depending on the time of day.
